Amongst his first works feature <strong>BXR1<\/strong> (1984), <strong>MUSICIAN\u2019S ACCORD AWARD<\/strong>, which granted him the debut of this piece in Carnegie Recital Hall in New York in the spring of 1985, <strong>Impressions per a veu i quartet de cordes<\/strong> (1984) and <strong>BXR6<\/strong> (1986) were both selected and debuted in the Tribunas de J\u00f3venes Compositores of the Juan March Foundation and <strong>Seq\u00fc\u00e8ncies per a orquestra<\/strong> (1985), his first piece for an orchestra which obtained an honorific mention in the <strong>EUROPEAN YOUTH COMPETITION 1985<\/strong> held in Holland, and the <strong>PREMIO CIUDAD DE BARCELONA<\/strong> <strong>1987<\/strong>, later being debuted in Poland and recorded into a CD. Afterwards other interesting orchestral works followed: <strong>Filosonia<\/strong> dedicated to the philosopher Juan David Garc\u00eda Bacca, <strong>De Materia<\/strong>, <strong>Contexto I<\/strong> for wind quintet and orchestra, <strong>Derivations<\/strong>\u2026 With his <strong>Concierto para Flauta y Conjunto Instrumental<\/strong> he starts a series of concerts with a soloist which are followed by <strong>Concert per a Guitarra i Cordes<\/strong> and by <strong>Concierto para clarinete y orquesta<\/strong> all of them turned into CD form. Some titles of his extensive chamber music collection: <strong>Necesidad y Azar<\/strong>, the cycles <strong>BXR<\/strong> and <strong>Contexto<\/strong>, <strong>Quintet<\/strong>, <strong>Spazio-Tempo<\/strong>, <strong>Polifon\u00eda de c\u00e1mara para quince instrumentos de cuerda<\/strong>, <strong>Tych\u00e9<\/strong>,&nbsp; etc\u2026 the vast majority of them also available on CD. Amongst the numerous awards received throughout his career we highlight the <strong>PREMIO CIUDAD DE BARCELONA<\/strong> <strong>1987<\/strong>, the <strong>PREMIO<\/strong> <strong>CIUTAT D\u2019ALCOI 1989 <\/strong>for chamber music and the <strong>PREMIO REINA SOFIA DE COMPOSICI\u00d3N MUSICAL 1996<\/strong>. His interest for electroacoustic music brings him to work in Phonos under the supervision of Andr\u00e9s Lewin-Ritcher since the beginning of his career.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between 1997-2007&nbsp; it is worth mentioning his work in the theatrical framework with titles like <strong>Dedins, defora (Dentro, fuera)<\/strong> a monologue from Llu\u00efsa Cunill\u00e9 accompanied by music (Barcelona Grec-1997 Summer Festival), <strong>La Cita<\/strong> (coproduction Grec-99, Edinburgh Festival). <strong>M\u00e1s extra\u00f1o que el para\u00edso<\/strong> from Xavier Albert\u00ed (Grec-2001), <strong>Troilus y Cr\u00e9sida<\/strong>, (Festival de verano de Barcelona \u2013 Grec 2002), <strong>Sangre Lunar<\/strong> from Sanch\u00eds Sinisterra (Teatro Mar\u00eda Guerrero, Madrid 2006), <strong>Te dir\u00e9 siempre la verdad<\/strong> (Llu\u00eds Omar, Xavier Albert\u00ed, Llu\u00efsa Cunill\u00e9 2002-2003),<strong>Lluvia en el Raval<\/strong> from Pau Mir\u00f3 (Festival de Oto\u00f1o de la Comunidad de Madrid 2006), <strong>La caiguda d\u2019Amlet<\/strong> from Jordi Oriol (Festival Temporada Alta 2007), etc\u2026&nbsp; While weiting all these works, he developed an intense teaching and lecturing activity. He is a member of the Asociaci\u00f3n Catalana de Compositores (Catalan Composers Association) and of Asociaci\u00f3n de M\u00fasica Electroac\u00fastica de Espa\u00f1a (Spain\u2019s Electroacoustic Music Association) since their formations. He currently holds the vice-presidency of the Phono<em>s Foundation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simultaneously, he was involved in an intense educational activity and as a lecturer as well. He has taught at the Conservatorio Municipal de M\u00fasica de Barcelona, being his director between 2008 and 2019. He has conducted seminaries, workshops and lectures all over the country and abroad: in Barcelona, Terrasa, Girona, Lleida, Vilaseca, Sabadell, A Coru\u00f1a, Zaragoza, Tarragona, Madrid, Alicante, Palermo, Milan, Paris, Rome, Geneva, Toulouse and Andorra.
